How much wedding DJ experience do you have?
I have been DJing weddings for over 15 years. With a long history of playing clubs, events, and festivals, many of my clients discover me when I’m performing outside of weddings because they are music lovers.
Do you have experience at our venue?
Over the past 20 years, I've played at numerous venues and am familiar with most. Whether I've played at your venue or not, I’ll connect with the venue manager to arrange load-in, set-up times, and discuss any specific requests for your day.
Do you have any videos of events you’ve done so we can get a feel?
You can check out the Media section on my website to see examples of my work and get a feel for my style. You can view videos, pictures, and listen to mixes.
Will you be the DJ at our wedding, or could it be someone else (for larger companies)?
When you book me, you’re getting me!
How early do you arrive before the start of the wedding?
I arrive at least two hours before your first guest arrives. If an earlier setup is required, I coordinate with the venue to ensure all vendors work seamlessly together for your event.
How will you dress for our wedding?
I wear a black suit for a formal look. However, I’m happy to adjust to suit the style of your event if you prefer something more casual.
Tell us about your MC style. Is there a standard script? Can things be customized?
My MC style is casual, friendly, and professional. With extensive experience in radio, large-scale events, television and corporate settings, I’m comfortable adapting in the moment. If you need last-minute changes, I can handle them smoothly without disrupting your guests' experience.
How do you select music to play? From a standard list? Can we add or restrict songs?
I meet with all my clients to get to know their music preferences. Many provide a Spotify playlist, which helps me create a set tailored to their favorite tracks. For every event and wedding, I create a personalized setlist.
How extensive is your music library, and what genres do you cover?
My music library is vast. As an open-format DJ, I’ve played all styles at various events. I cover music from the 50s, 60s, 70’s, 80’s 90’s & 2000’s, specialising in Hip Hop and RnB. I can also include rock, drum n’ bass, house and even some country for all the cowboys and cowgirls out there.
Do you edit songs for a specific request for the ceremony, or can you remix / edit them?
I can handle all music adjustments for your event through my experience in music production. I’m also able to create custom edits if you have something special in mind. Your options are limited only by your imagination
If there are specific songs we want but you don’t have, will you download them, or should we provide them?
Let me know any must-have songs, and I’ll make sure they’re ready to go.
What equipment is included in your pricing?
My quotes include a full DJ setup with a DJ booth, speakers, subwoofers, microphone for speeches, and basic coloured uplighting.
Are you insured?
Yes, I carry full insurance.
How much is your deposit?
A 20% deposit is required upon booking to secure the date. Once the deposit is paid, your date is locked in.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and plans can change. If you need to cancel, I’ll work with you to find an alternative date. For straight cancellations, however, the deposit is non-refundable.
